I've been hammock camping since before it was a thing. I'm sure I own 7-10 hammocks, 3 underquilts, top quilts, pads, etc. I've probably spent 10-15 nights in this hammock so far and it's so easy, so cozy and exactly what it is advertised to be. I don't know about 20 degrees, but I've been down to freezing and reasonably comfortable. There's no having to move the quilt to cover your shoulder, no problem sealing the quilt, no tucking the top quilt then being totally still so you don't get cold. It's like hanging a sleeping bag from two trees and losing yourself in the puff of quilting. Love it.
This is the third backpacking chair I've tried. Best comfort, lightest, and highest weight capacity yet. The cut-outs are a nice add.
I had to add to my vacation adventure gear. My adventures are mostly sitting on a beach so this was perfect. I need something to keep my chair from sinking into the sand. I love the colors. It is even brighter in the real! It is lightweight and easy to pack. I can’t wait to try it out. I wanted to use this for the granddaughter playing in the grass but she just wants to pull it up and play with it so it quickly becomes a combined ball of baby and parachute fabric.
I had my beloved hammock for 8 years! It served me solace in nature, camping and hiking trips, the double hammock being comfy enough to sleep in if you get the right placement. I had my hammock set up at a university encampment as a student in Justice for Palestine. The police raided the camp and shredded everything, including my beloved hammock. I reached out to Grand Trunk, not expecting anything but they graciously offered me a large discount to buy another. It’s not as beautiful as my past pink tie dye, but it’s just as comfy and durable. I appreciated that the thick straps came with this order but I think they may be a bit shorter than the ones you can buy separately, not 100% sure. I’m so grateful for this company!
