360° ThermaQuilt 3-in-1 Hammock Blanket, Sleeping Bag & Underquilt

A
Andrew Herndon (St. George, UT)
solid mid-low temperature option

I haven’t been able to take this on an overnight trip yet, but as the temperatures start to drop and become more fall-like in my area, this has been an easy to carry lightweight addition to stave off some of the windchill while reading in my hammock. I’ve never stepped up to extreme light weight backpacking, but it blows my mind that something this light can be this warm.

Game changer

Set it up this morning in a breezy 11C/50F and enjoyed my coffee. 10/10 would recommend.

Love it

I have Used this under-quilt for that last three years, sleep at least 25 night in north central Arkansas from march though late October. Back packed and car camped both. Last march went backpacking in the Ozark mountains, Indian creek trail of the Ozark highlands trail, great trail by the way. It was cold down to the lower 30, took a ENO’s inferno under quilt just in case. I slept in ice breaker Marino wool top and bottom, wool sock and my Marino wool cap my wife made and I stayed warm. Did not use the ENO’s, used it to cover my dog, who sleep in her own hammock. I Would not want to get much cooler than the rated 40 degrees. I am 6’ and weight 238, I’ve got a little extra meat on me and can tolerate a fair bit of cold but I slept well. The bag is snug, but I can get is zipped over my head which helps. I wrote the review today as I just bought one for my daughter, our annual spring break backpacking trip. Gonna finish off the Ozark highlands trail. June of 21 used on a 8 day paddle trip to the boundary waters, it was just the right weight and comfort level.
