I bought the hammock stand for a couple reasons, and the most pressing one was as a (temporary) replacement for my bed during a move. It has been super helpful because it’s light and easy to move (for what it is), and I honestly really like the little bit of flex from the frame. I’m sleeping so well and the only reason I haven’t paired it with my Grand Trunk hammock is because my cats sleep with me, so it definitely works with other hammocks, too!! I’m a bit annoyed with the Velcro on the carrying case as I prefer zippers, but that’s a me thing and doesn’t change my rating. If you’re thinking about this, it’s absolutely worth it. I currently (and open endedly) use it daily and it’s been an amazing investment. I can’t wait to use it outside this summer 😅
I just received the hangout hammock stand in the mail. I have been using a grand truck double hung hammock for years and love the product. I purchased this after looking at a variety of hammock stand over the last few years but have been apprehensive about purchasing a product that might not live up to expectations. The final decision was made based off of the increased size that I felt would give me a better hang. I’m 6’2”, 250 lbs and didn’t want to compromise my comfort but up to this point it’s all been the main concern that prevented me from actually buying any stand. I unpacked this stand and my initial thoughts were “this seems way sturdier than I imagined” I was also impressed by the seemingly indestructible quality of the carry bag. Usually carry bags are made cheaply and never fit the products well after the first use, not the case here. I haven’t had the time to set it up yet but I’m confident based off of what I’ve seen so far, this is a quality product that will last me a lifetime.
This thing seems super strong—love it for the yard and have taken it a couple places. It's a bit much to haul around, but useful if you don't have any trees to hang a hammock on!
Grand Trunk is just the best and this hammock stand lives up to our expectations and more. It's easy to put together, easy to move around, but somehow is substantial enough to hold both my husband and me, and our dog! We love it and gives us a relaxing way to enjoy spending time outside.
