I have done a lot of camping, both tent and hammock camping. I have been searching for the perfect sleep while camping and until now everything has been coming up short. I was just in Hico, West Virginia for 4 nights of camping. It was in the 50s the 1st night and then down into the low 30s last three of the nights. This hammock was perfect. Unzipped I was comfortable the first night and zipped up I never felt the cold the other 3 nights. I was as comfortable as sleeping in a bed in a climate controlled house. I am so happy I found out about this hammock, it is the best piece of camping gear I have ever had.

I’ve been a hammock camper for over a decade. I’ve tried all manner of hammocks, bags, over quilts, under quilts, etc…The Evolution 20 is just a massive leap forward in hammock camping. Its so compact, and simple. No more struggle with orienting your bag, or getting in and out in the middle of the night. The bag doesnt move! Just a fantastic piece of kit, and worth every penny.

I took this hammock to Havasupi and during my trip it rained, my rain cover had gotten blown over and even though it had gotten a slightly wet it kept most of the rain out and I had no issues sleeping in it, it kept me very warm. 10/10 would recommend the only test left is the test of time to see how long it will hold up but if you want a warm, sturdy hammock that makes it look like no one’s in it and stays dry even if a little rain gets on it, this is the one for you. Little bonus, I didn’t need netting to keep the bugs out because the flaps covered my face and it wasn’t suffocating although that was because I forgot it not so much because I didn’t want it. Use it however you want but you won’t be disappointed if you get it.
