1. Plant

Plant a tree or start a garden. Believe it or not, trees help improve air quality and can provide a habitat for wildlife.

2. Participate

Join in a community clean-up activity. Remove litter and debris from local parks, waterways, and streets. Even cleaning just a little bit at a time makes a difference.

3. Reduce

By walking, biking, or using public transportation instead of driving you can help reduce pollution in your area. Reducing your carbon footprint by buying less and using less energy is another great contribution.

4. Reuse

Make the switch to environmentally-friendly products, such as reusables (bags, water bottles, utensils).

5. Conserve

Save water by fixing leaks, taking shorter showers, and watering your lawn and garden during cooler hours.

6. Educate

Learn for yourself and others about environmental issues and ways to reduce waste and conserve resources.

7. Adventure

Get outside and share your love for the outdoors with someone new!
